Hi,
I have seen some members albums and they have the cutest furniture EVER! some of it is from american girl back from the 90's so I wouldn't be able to get it now..But I was wondering where some of you get that extremely cute realistic furniture.I can't remember the user but somebody had the cutest refrigerator for their dolls And someone else had a bunk bed. My mom and I went onto Ebay and found some furniture but not enough!!! Could you post some pictures of your furniture or "bed rooms" for your dolls? I love looking at the pictures and getting ideas [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

My dad made most of the furniture in my albums. Kirsten and Lissie's bunk bed came from Santa a loooooonnnnngggg time ago when I was very small.

If you go to my imagestation link below and then go to my other albums, Kirsten and Felicity have a few pieces of furniture that are non-AG featured in their albums. Sorry- my current link is to an empty album- hope to fix that this week!

The rough work table in Felicity's album was an antique side table we found at a yard sale when I was a kid and my step-dad just sawed the legs short. It works great for a kitchen work table and served Kirsten for many years before I finally acquired her authentic set in the early 90s. Felicity's clothes press is a Bombay jewelry wardrobe and I store my jewelry in it, though it would work well for storing little accessories. Kirsten's potbelly stove is a salesman sample. If you look under "salesman sample" on ebay you'll get tons of possibilities, but I warn you it can get to be a new addiction if you have the space for doll furniture. I currently don't so I've scaled back quite a bit and am not looking. Addy and Josefina each have a dresser/small trunk not pictured- I'll try to get some pictures but they're currently in storage. They are also salesman samples of larger furniture.

Coming soon to the album is my newest non-AG furntiure- the LOF table and chairs with linens set (very similar to Addy's but with elaborate linens that came with it) and a colonial drop-leaf table. I acquired both on ebay, but the LOF one is available through their website too. I got a retired version of it for a lot cheaper than now. It used to go for around $50 but now it's $75. Sometimes ebay has it cheaper.

It's all about ebay...

My kitchen set is an old Wolverine which I bought on Ebay and painted it....some of the little Items are jewel boxes, they make good furniture....ladder back chairs are really cheap on Ebay, I have three of them I use....little oil lamps are also cheap on Ebay, I have lots of them. When I go to yard sales I am always looking for little stuff I can use for my doll rooms
